I could relate many, many more similar stories. Over the years I have worked to try to save the literature of natural medicine (osteopathy, homeopathy, chiropractic, naturopathy, hydrotherapy, acupuncture, herbal medicine, botanical medicine, mental cure, spiritual healing, etc.). Over that time I have not only acquired an impressive personal library but also become an expert on such material. I now understand that what is available in these fields is only a tiny fraction of what was ever originally published.

Most of the knowledge and insights acquired by thousands of healers and physicians into how to help sick people without drugs and surgery, naturally, the results of millions of patient encounters, has been lost. Many of the old journals and magazines which specialized in publishing this information are no longer available anywhere. I know.
